What gets me is that so many of them use rooms without any treatment. Room acoustics play a huge role on how something sounds. Variations of 20db or more is typical. Imagine a child with an equalizer .......

Your speakers are very sensitive. Just so you know every time you double the amplifier power you increase volume by 3db. To make the sound twice as loud it takes 8 or 10 db. Your speakers deliver 98 d .......

Radio shack has one for about 25.00. There are places you can order from. I use a Delhi that was only about 70 bucks shipped and it's overkill. So if you live around hills are a good distance spend mo .......

An Adcom GFP 555II can be purchased for under 200 easily. It is the first preamp that comes to mind too. It will work well with your system. .......

If you had a line array of 6.5's you may be able to equalize them into the 20hz range but I'm not sure how that will work out. I'll stick with my 15s tuned for f3 of 30hz. .......

I believe you'll be fine. If you don't already know room acoustics are hugely important and inexpensive to implement. Some absorption actually makes the room act larger than it is. My room is only 12x .......

you did! A good antenna will usually improve sound quality too. If you can afford more than the radio shack yagi I'd do it. I use a Delhi QFM 9 and think it only cost 70 bucks or so shipped. It's over .......

It'll do what you want with ease. They sell for 700 or so. Another B&K 4420 is also fine. Good quality amps will last an easy 15 years and even then you can just have the caps redone and they'll last .......

Here in Portland, OR the jazz station I listen to daily can do better than many cd's. This is through a modded Kenwood and yagi antenna. It's not nearly as good as audiophile grade cd's but is better .......

I haven't seen any reviews but mine is excellent. Sold my CIAudio dac after I bought it as the dacs are better imo. Also the dacs have an adjustable filter. Overall it's been bullet proof for the one .......

speakers will rock, I can assure you. Also they will sound excellent doing it even at very high volume, no compression. Per dollar you'll be hard pressed to do better. I agree with the above post rega .......
