I will give it some thought. The floors underneath are oak, while pretty flat some spots are off, thus making the stands sway a bit, after some adjustment with a bubble level it seems to be really stu .......

the bow is built like a tank, but seriously, rare is the overdoing of brushed aluminum thickness as in this amp... The speakers are really well built... i can sort of understand the question as brits, .......

Hi, dyn bookshelf user here (old Audience model), i tried them with a variety of amps, but ended up using a non neg. feedback amp at 80 watt into 4 ohms and was hooked, the amp although not freaky pow .......

I tried, Vibrapods, Cardas Blocks, Ceraballs. I liked the Cardas Blocks best, dont know how diff the Saturn is in weight terms, so have no idea if this is of any help. Sold the Rega soon after i bough .......

Strip, twist, terminate with AQ banana or spade (screw down type), grip of death if you do it right, no need to fret as this is probably the best thing to do with wire that is so cheap. I have Type 4 .......

The only problem with bare connection is that the thinner wire (if you are not biwiring) is usually "loose" or hard to clamp down on with the binding posts, it can be done if you give a small twist to .......

Jup. This cable sounds really really good, even after having spent some money on more (10x more!!) speaker cable. Its so cheap you can just replace it if you want fresh copper every now and then. I go .......

Depends on the room and what you listen to. I have the 42 for about 5 years, they need quality watts, not tons of them. I think that the 42 is a better speaker (both were tested at home), while the 52 .......

I used the 8tc for about 1.5 years in my sys. I think that the 8tc has good bass, but if you want a cable that will give a bit more bass and bass grip you should look at something else. Dont get me wr .......

Just recently took out Myrtle blocks (Cardas) out from under the amp, just did not work, works great under CDP, even better that Ceraballs if you ask me. At this price, give em a try and let us know. .......

I hooked up a cheap computer fan which i dont notice during the day, at night i turn it off. The only problem is that tons of dust gathers around. Might not be a good idea for a cdp but for an amp its .......

I had the exact same problem you had (it was not a Grado cart, and the deck was a ProJect Debut II) took it to the service guy and had it fixed for around $15 bucks, never asked him why(!) just happy .......

For me things just had a more relaxed sound, i guess after 3 months its really hard to spot that perticular change, a good outlet should do good for the sound, i doubt it will "break" a system as maki .......

A good cheap cable is Audioquest type 4, if you do not want solid core, try 8tc from Kimber, I have used both cables and both seem to smooth out the treble... In any case, give them a try, not too exp .......

In a two wire solid core design where one wire is bigger (like say Type 4) the fat wire gets the pressure of the binding post while the skinny wire gets almost or none. Twisting the two wires can help .......

Wow, cool system, does the TV mess up the soundstage? One trick is to cover the rack/tv with a blanket or for real critical listening finding a diff spot for the speakers (pull them out) and then putt .......

Rarely does a iec fit nice and snug esp. if it is heavy and not very flexible. I made a "pillow" for the iec out of some sand and a small plastic bag, less stress on the conection and brings it up to .......

I changed my Kiber 8tc with Audioquest type 4 and the AQ for some reason sounds better, while the Kimber has more "audiophile" flavor with more "air" or whatever the AQ has more bass and depth... Goin .......

I have lived with the Chorus cable for some 3 years, for a hyper detail cdp it can do wonders, for a more mellow sounding cdp things just get a bit sloppy, dont get me wrong i love this cable, it just .......

I did that last summer, worked nice, however, a ton of dust had collected/stuck on the inside, no big problem, just make sure to clean that stuff off of the heat sinks every so often... v.i. Million m .......

I would give the Furutech a fair try, maybe a month or two... This company also provides the receptacles without the box, so this i suppose is a cheaper way to go if you are competent in making your o .......

Maybe a Ceraball "spider" version could help, using no shelf material. I use MDF and regular Ceraballs under the CDP, things cleaned up... I would like to try some thick plexiglass, but its rather exp .......

i think if you have a hum problem, i had one, took it back to the dealer and had it fixed. if you want you can ask the dealer to change the new cart for you, but it is pretty much a no brainer as i ch .......

I buy tons of records which are pressed in Jamaica, it seems to me that they skip the last part of production and do not clean the record properly... While this has not really bothered me too much i r .......

I would go for the Accuphase, AA has only been in the game for about 10-12 years, while Accuphase is a company with a really good reputation... Soundwise, the Accuphase might be more of a all rounder. .......

My wood floor is really "wavey", lots of air pockets and it is really "creaky". My speaker stands are really heavy and filled with sand, they sit on adjustable spikes, while the speaker is level, it s .......

you may want to sand the matt a bit with some ultra fine grit paper... you will be suprised how smooth you can make this material (cork is a bit ruff on lp's). it worked fine for me but no really big .......

I took a look inside my speakers and noticed that the internal wire looks sort of crap, + its not soldered onto the driver, i use Kimber 8tc and was thinking about rewiring the inside of the speaker w .......

Kimber also sells (my dealer does) original pbj wire by the meter. I bought some 4tc and made a great sounding pbj clone. You can also braid 4 tc wires around some cotton rope + heat tube it all for a .......
