The Tangband version is obviously much, much less expensive and will likely be phased out as a production model. The version with the AER cones and the sub drivers retails at $32k and change, however .......

It is important to know that the head units of these speakers are no longer the Lowther units, but the exceptionally better AER units. The build quality of the AER cones far and away eclipses the Lowt .......

I would just like to say the photo above is with the TangBand full range driver. The audition this morning is with the AER cone in a field coil arrangement. For current photos please refer to the webs .......

Finally I have the Atma-Sphere S30 3.2 into my system and the sound is simply wonderful. I am driving Lowther Field Coils in the SurrealSpeaker.com design I really couldn't be happier and honestly fee .......

I can't recall how it was originally set up, but this is how it is now: TT1 TT2 AUX Tape1 and Tape2 (Not certain about the tape, but I think there are two). I load each 'table separately with Caddock .......

I would love to hear a pair of the Surreal Speakers Fifth Row with the S30s! I run mine with 100wpc Carys and it's way too much juice. I think the 30s would be perfect... .......

I do have the MP1, older version so I am excited to hear that the 3.2 upgrade is everything I've been told! I would like to address the 2 phono inputs; Ralph modded my unit for two 'tables. Apparently .......

SOTA hasn't jigged an armboard for starters and apparently the cueing mechanism on the TP is too tight for it to work smoothly (at the moment) speak to Kirk @ SOTA .......

I agree here......hit or miss; you can't possibly know everything about recordings. Zero in on what you like and hunt for the good stuff, but be prepared to end up with a large pile of junk, too. I w .......

Having used the adapters, I would like to echo the caution from Lew. It's another thing in the signal path and it was like not having a balanced signal at all, just having an XLR termination with sing .......
