Group Delay is an interesting comparison. While Sim #1 is actually slightly lower for the mid and high end of your 150-800Hz range, it has a lot more variability, #2 is actually flatter. At the low .......

Here are both impulse spectrograms. Sim #1 takes about 27 milliseconds to decay, Sim #2 settles down in about 17 milliseconds. Note the red zone for both tails off at about the same time, around 10 .......

When using RC coupling, where the R is replaced by a good quality grid choke, doesn't it provide a low impedance path to ground? I'm not sure how much that reduces the effect of the capacitor's blocki .......

How about the Beyma 6P200Fe, it is a 6.5 inch but Qes=.27. It has very nice response, impedance and distortion curves for the midrange band. Sensitivity is only 93dB though. .......

How about using a 46 driving a pair of 46's? It is class B with 400V, 20 watts. And the 46 is supposed to sound very good comparable to 45s. The RCA datasheet has a schematic in it. Not overly expensi .......

The problem is XP can't work with newer versions of the IE browser 9 or 10, it is stuck with IE8. And many new websites are using new features that IE8 is not capable of handling. Here's a good articl .......

The Hammond 374AX is 720VCT and 138mA which matches the MQ5504 and also has an electrostatic shield, would be a very good substitute. Its primary is 120V where the MQ5504 was 115V so it might not even .......

You can reduce the 15uF cap before the choke, and/or you can add a bleeder resistor after the choke, which can be modeled as current tap in PSUD II to drop a few volts. .......

If you want to drop the voltage you can reduce the first cap in your power supply, replacing the 2uf cap will lower your B+ with the same rectifier. .......

Okay that was easy, I examined the examples in the link and added a new line in my rectifiers.txt file for a 5V3-AX2 and doubled the values of Vfac and Ipkr, and it looks very similar to your graphs. .......

I installed some Jupiters awhile back. I kept some notes that said the inner foil is marked with the band on the left side, which should be connected to the input. I don't see this on the Jupiter webs .......

I have been using untwisted magnet wire from Radio Shack and one speaker is dead silent, the other has only the faintest hum but you have to put your ear right to the driver, only 3 or 4 inched away. .......

Power wraps made a difference when I put them on my DirecTV satellite HDTV box, which has a captive cord I did not want to cut off. They are good for video on DVD players also. .......
