That will help settle the discussion if your cartridge is an R or a Standard. I think the gold line on yours indicates it is an R even if they did not silk screen the sides. The test chart will help .......

The difference is in the suspensions and the platter mass. Your SL 150 platter is up there in the SP 10MKII range from what I remember. Its not quite double the mass of an SL1200. I love these tables .......

You can have a partial gimbal bearing design, like many high quality tonearms and full gimbal design like your EPA 100MKII or the SL1200 arm. IMO, the merkiness and dark overall sound quality is a dir .......

I like the AT arms a lot. They have decent build quality, excellent bearings and a Bayonet to make it easy to swap cartridges. The Grace makes swapping a more troublesome event but the sonics are exc .......

I can say without any equivocation that a stock SL1200 is basically a mid fidelity sonic experience. However, for the price you get a platform that cannot be surpassed for speed accuracy at any freque .......

Now that is an idler tire! The rubber on the motor plate isolation looks pretty beefy too. I wonder how much the platter on this thing might weigh? I hope you will post more pics in the future. Cheer .......

First this is a voltage doubler circuit. The factory transformers George Wright specified could hit 14 volts without any sweat, in fact he used a 10watt .5 to 1.0 ohm dropping resistor and still hit .......
