I too want to digitize a boat load of analog recordings. I don't think this unit can handle line-level analog input. Appears the in-put is for a microphone extension cord. .......

Way to go! I found my TD-145 at the thrift store for $20 American. The new belt doubled the cost and it works great. Radio Shack provided the RCA jacks for a top notch IC and I grounded everything sep .......

on a TD-145. The thickness helps VTA. Still tacky after washing. It can look nasty after awhile as the tackiness collects dust. Can only compare sound to original mat which it beats. .......

I cleaned around 30+ sides, and with RRL that's 2 cleanings per side since you have the wash and the rinse. I scrub pretty hard so I guess it ran longer than it should. Never did shut down on it's own .......

From my experience, and I have seen several like you speak of, the problem is in the vinyl and not fixable. Probably a contaminate mixed into the pressing process and these should have been promptly r .......

I use a blot of lighter fluid on a paper towel to remove the price sticker glue. Careful though, if you continue to rub one spot you'll get more off than intended. For stubborn stickers, remove the LP .......

I too added CD for current music but never gave up my LP's OR cassettes. I still enjoy putting my favorite cuts on cassette for a road trip. I have hundreds of hours of self transfered music on casset .......

Sometimes a skip is caused by something physically stuck to the grooves. If you lightly feel in the area of the skip you may feel a bump. It might "pop off" with some gentle persuasion. Most skips are .......
