That makes perfect sense, David, and I appreciate the response. It seems like relative phase does make a whole heck of a lot MORE of a difference than absolute phase. Some folks, if not most, probably .......

Hmm. So am I thinking of phase, or polarity? The amp in question is a deHavilland Mercury. Stuart -- Stuart Hall (sturob@swbell.net) .......

Dumb question here: I'm buying a preamp which inverts phase, and I have read a lot about that fact. My amp (a Berning Siegfried) does not invert phase, so I understand that I need to make a change in .......

Is the ad8610 opamp a dual-mono or single-channel? The others you listed are two-channels (like the OPA2604); I've got an Ah! 4000 which uses two single-channel opamps rather than a single dual-channe .......

I just installed the BB OPA627 "upgrade" opamps into my Ah! 4000 CDP. One word: wow. Actually, I didn't get the change I might have expected; the imaging has taken on a life of its own, and jumped way .......

I just took a look at the Watford page. Hmm. I wonder who makes the tubes for them . . . that would, of course, tell us a lot. Your comment about the two camps (JJ v. Svet/EH) is well-taken, even the .......
