The power cord is going to be a Synergistic Research T3 UHC. I believe they use a cheap schurter iec and a the Hubbell ac plug. I agree crappy stuff but the overall product sounds very good. You reall .......

I definitely agree that my B&Ws like to be biwired. I think the best value, if price is a concern was a double run of used 8tc. For more money, but generally available used, there is the Kimber BiFoca .......

If you make jumpers keep them short. Not to be a total bummer but B&W speakers generally sound better bi-wired. I'm not sure how much you paid for your cables but Kimber Select makes some pretty nice .......

I used the flavor four (gold iec/silver ac) with the R1 outlet. I used the xxx outlet on the power conditioner with the gold wattgate. They sound great, they were cyro but not cooked, so i'll give the .......

The Monster power conditioner is hard wired with a Wattgate 330i gold ac plug. The Rotel is a flavor 4 variation with a Wattgate 350 gold iec plug and a Wattgate 330i silver ac plug. Does this help. A .......

First off i strongly recommend looking in the ARCHIVES...there is lots of good information. The cord is sum of its parts. Any change in the recipe will effect it. The wire, the connectors, the solder .......

The MITs are indeed older. I too purchased them used from the Cable Company. The older ones with the whitish color. I'm not sold on the Home Depot idea but unfortunately they sound better then my 750s .......

Cardas wire has a mellow reputation. The connectors you use make a big difference... the marinco/wattgate combination is mellow compared to the ps/schurter combination-this may be a better fit for you .......

If you don't care about your warranty, try replacing the ac plug first...you should notice a nice difference. You can then decide if you want to invest more time/effort replacing the whole cord after .......

I too prefer the marinco mechanically, hands down. Sonically, i like the marinco/ wattgate with the 83802 but not with the volex/ belden (too dark)...stay with p&s and schurter, for best sonic results .......

The wire is by nature dark sounding, especially with the stock connectors. You should replace the connectors with the specified ones (p&s and schurter) to better balance the sound. .......
