I've heard Harbeth. I've heard Canton Reference and Vento. Compared to Canton Harbeths sound colored....and don't do all music the same, and seem a tad slow. Cantins do all music well and are transpar .......

The reason why they sound so good is because most German high end speakers are of excellent engineering and quality. Tidal, Canton Elac and a host of others. German know how to make excellent speakers .......

I have a iDSD Micro DAC and the iPSU. Both can be had for $700. It does DSD all the way up to DSD 512. I use JRiver and I do DSD 128. And I've used HQPlayer that goes a bit higher. Now as far as DSD 1 .......

Dont know if you've purchased the PSAudio but try the iFI DSD DAC and the iUSB PSU....excellent stuff.... DSD 512 capable....but I've only heard it do DSD 64....hard to beat it for under $1000... ::: .......

I've heard the M106, M105,F208 and the F206, Salon2's as well as the Studio's . The new series are not as good in my opinion. In fact, if a person can hear, you can tell right off the bat. But the fun .......

I don't think you have to buy the most expensive cable, but you have nice quality gear from Line Magnetic if I'm not mistaken. Why not hear it at its best? You shouldnt bother with those cheaper power .......

Thats what I love about Vincent....it will give you whats on the CD or vinyl. Its very accurate. Once you get the proper tubes you will be grinning all day. And once the tubes get nice and toasty ,man .......

I have had both. I had a Vincent SA-T1 tubed preamp matched with a Rotel Power amp RB 1080 @ 200 WPC. It was good, but not really the best of both worlds...more like a very good hi-fi sound and system .......

A buddy of mine used a Pangea on is Rega amp and loved it...so he also put them on his CD transport and DAC and they made the system dead as well. I used one on my amp and it did well...darker backgro .......

Purchased new speakers. These are incredible with a midrange to die for. The old tweeter has been discarded and Canton add the cermic tweeter thats used in their Reference line and then tweak .......

I purchased two of the GL 12Ax7's on the excellent reviews I've been reading. Well after about 3 hours on them, I hear a very good presentation. The only fault I can find with the GL 12AX7 is the cymb .......

Yes I heard them. What I like most is the tweeter. Its has a light delicate sound to it. I did not find it irritating at all. It does have a certain character to it. I think most people would use a go .......

Actually ceramic is very durable. Canton uses them in their Vento and Reference lines and have been for a few years now. Tweeter 1 x 25 mm (1''), aluminum ceramic oxyd .......

I think speakers effect the CJ sound more than most as well. A buddy of mine has the CT-6 preamp and mono CJ power amps and while using Dynaudio speakers sounded overly warm and syrupy. He decided to .......

I've had that same table and had a 2M Red on it...works fine. It has a metal platter so you may want to stay away from the Grado carts. .......

They are nice speakers with a rich midrange. I've never heard any Jolida so I cant speak to that. The Harbeth really shine with nice Jazz and blues. .......

The one in the first picture should be your motor seeing its the same table. The motor in the DIY table is the same as the 9.1 and MH 7.1 in the pictures. The DIY table has a DIY metal base made for i .......
