Option 3 works well for me in a 2ch setup. LFT8b's running full range with secondary preamp outs running into sub (B&W ASW1000) running at 40hz from sub's internal lp section. This may present an issu .......

Measured usable output at 25Hz but not enough punch in a 4000+ cu ft room. I suspect in a smaller room I would not have a subwoofer. .......

When planning to shoot my .357 (S&W 27) indoors I usually wear ear plugs and ear cups. Just the cups for .45 or 9mm. Of course that doesn't help when the guy in the next lane has a .44mag or a Desert .......

And thus you see the conundrum. A set of ASL Hurricanes: too expensive, too large. Ah me, so sad. The Cary's (albeit 14 years old) present a very adequate and very affordable solution. .......

I have found these speakers to be very tube friendly. Bruce says this because they present such a stable high impedance load. Before I bought the Cary's I was using a Sunfire Cinema Grand (200wpc x5 @ .......

I've been wanting to get a set for my Cary SLM100s. I don't quite understand the post about biasing based on power output as the Cary's bias by mA. I've been running the current svets around 175mA. Wh .......
