It's funny you know. This is a great hobby. But it's a only a hobby. I've got a Discovery. Like it a lot. I've also got a Helikon. Like that one as well. And they are quite different. Nice thing about .......

VPI would do well to incorporate in their design the loricraft's cheif advantage: the use-once thread, perhaps replacing the velvet lip with a use once velvet threat. :>) This would enchance the VPI's .......

I've been running dm58s for about 2 years. They remain on 24/7. Set and forget. The amps are rock solid. Nothing bothers them - they just keep playing with wonderful sonics. My area of the country suf .......

No question: a combo to lust after. I think your ARCs will work very well. I've always prefered the sound of my quads with more rather than less amp power... but you must be careful not to over drive .......

I understand that this is effective in flattening warped discs - a good thing since we all have far too many of these! Question is: does it adversely effect the sonics; I have read reports on VA and e .......

I have had very good experiences using Audiogon to buy and sell audio gear. I have also used ebay for non audio purchases. Ebay is ok but you have to be very careful. I prefer Audiogon for high end au .......

Audiogon's Blue Book does have some cartidge info: New list $, avg used $, release date, type and output voltage. You have to pay a fee to access this. .......

Took a look... seemed interesting so I ordered a 4 inch brush SW 100. I have only used it on about 6 sides but my inital impression is very very favorable. It is outperforming both my Hunt and Decca b .......

Just curious as to your evaluation of the 32s phono section... I had a 32Ref for quite a while.. and loved the line stage as well as the user interface. However I always found the phono section really .......

I recently discovered Arthur Salvatore's wonderful website at http://www.high-endaudio.com He has a nice listing of his picks for sonic excellence on vinyl. Some of the selections he find outstanding .......
