I switched from the basic Benchmark DAC1 to the HDR version, which (unlike the basic DAC1) does not have a BNC connection. The Stereovox digital cable I use doesn't have the BNC/RCA adapter at one end .......

Assuming your sub has a phase setting, you can try reversing the setting (i.e. putting the sub out of phase) which should theoretically cause some cancellation where the sub and main speakers duplicat .......

I've noticed that in comparing how my system sounds when using my sub's high pass to not using it, my Quad 909 seems to sound more open when the high pass is not used and it's not relieved of dealing .......
