It could be the room. I had this problem with my 1.7s and 3.7s. The left side was always about 2db down. Turned out that I needed some room treatment on the side walls in locations that I wouldn't hav .......

Just because the reviews are positive (and I fully agree with them) doesn't mean that the 1.7s (or any x.7s) can't be improved. Whether Magnestand is the answer, I don't know. That can only be solved .......

The NewClear is a very nice amp. I've had one since October 2012 and am really enjoying it. It pushes my 1.7s effortlessly, really controls the bass and has slightly sweet mid/high range, .......

I believe the monos put out 1800 watts into 4 ohms. A few folks over at the Logan owners' forum have done this. Roger has been giving full credit for those making the trade. .......

I think one should look at Roger's solution for the Sanders electrostatic speakers. He uses a stereo ESL amp for the stats and a stereo Magtech amp for the woofers. He also uses a crossover (his prefe .......

I just spent 3 or 4 hours trying to hear any " hardness" in a 3.7 rig that I really know. I couldn't hear what you described. Those same speaker were in my rig for a few months and I never noticed any .......

I use Herbie's decoupling gliders because I have a laminate floor. They sound better than the provided pads. The good thing is that they slide easy (only when pushed. The speakers don't move when loud .......

I am finding that audio tools (iPad/iPhone) with the extra cost modules works wonders when adjusting my systems. Can be a bit costly (depending upon the modules you buy) but I don't know how I managed .......

It has received mixed reviews. I've heard the Coda preamp which is comparable (Coda is the OEM for much of Sanders gear) and thought that there were better preamps for the money. I don't know how diff .......

I suggest using a jumper made of the same wire as that of your main speaker wire. So far, that has been the best alternative for me. .......

My suspicion is that you caused the problem by not turning off your equipment (at least that is the way I read your post) before adjusting the interconnects. Did you check the fuses with a meter? Ofte .......

I know, but I felt the need to suggest it. It would be worth the stretch since there are usually used ones available and I don't think that there is any benefit of HDMI over TosLink for the stated app .......

At this point you should consider calling an electrician. There are too many things that can go wrong and DYI (in this case) may cost you more in the long run. If you insist on DYI, please find out ho .......

Thanks for the advise about not connecting the Harvester to the output of the PPP. We are in the process of swapping the DVR. I am hoping that the unit is faulty. I do know the the hard drive isn't we .......
