At age 69 he's still going strong. Plenty of live performance videos on YouTube. He did have to cancel some dates due to a throat problem. IMO, Roxy Music was one of the most influential and startling .......

I've had an Adcom 545 (original) for over 15 years with no problem whatsoever. It's bulletproof and does NOT run hot. I'd go for the Adcom at your budget. .......

For jazz, I look at engineers instead of labels. For example, stuff engineered/mixed by Jim Anderson, David Baker or James Farber are always top flight. .......

Yes - A great version of "Marionette" on the new live disc. I agree that the Ian Hunter LP "Shades Of" smoked the CD. BTW, if you watch carefully, you can catch Mr. Hunter quite often in relatively sm .......

Yes - Mott & All The Young Dudes. Many fans like "Brain Capers" & the first one. I like 'em all ("The Hoople") is also great. Some good compilations of pre-Dudes stuff & the glam years around as well. .......
