The audeze earpads are not removable but some might argue they are better than the hifiman earpads. I think both headphones have comfortable ear pads but the hifiman headband is much more comfortable .......

I think the new audiogon is an improvement over the old one. The interface is cleaner and easier to navigate. The use of white space is improved and I find the new font easier to read. I hope audiogon .......

I have tried the LCD2's with the WA22 and both the sophia princess (woo upgrade tube) and the EML 5U4. I think the Sophia Princess sounds slightly better than the EML. The SP sounds more open compared .......

Most of my rips with dbpoweramp have seemed to be very accurate. Usually when dbpoweramp says it can't rip a disc I can see cracks, scratches etc. on the disc itself. There have been very few occasion .......

If you want to upgrade to a 64 bit OS make sure all of your hardware has 64 bit drivers. If they don't you probably will not be able to use them with a 64 bit operating system. .......

The only setting that seems to work is when the Bitdepth field in the DSP & Output format screen in J River is set to 24 bits. .......

I'm assuming the QB9 can only accept data in the 24 bit format. So the player software needs to add the extra bits onto any 16 bit file. .......

I do exactly what you are suggesting with all of my CD's. Rip them to FLAC using dbpoweramp and then use the dbpoweramp converter to convert them to apple losless. It works great. .......

I've never used the duet but I use the touch all the time. I would strongly recommend if you go with the touch you do not use the duet as the remote but instead use ipeng on the ipad. I would consider .......

I had a creek 5350 do exactly the same thing. I called the company who sold it to me and they told me where to ship it to get it fixed. The remote volume control board needed to be replaced. ::: TOPIC .......

I have had the audioengine A2's hooked up to my computer for over a year. They are the best sounding computer speakers I have ever used. The company is terrific to work with too. I was having problems .......

I can hear it at normal listening levels but it's much more prominent the higher the level. The passive preamp is anywhere between 12 and 3 o'clock for normal listening levels. The hum is barely notic .......

I purchased a logitech touch a while back and hooked it up to my coincident passive preamp via the analog outs. The volume level is so low that it is virtually unplayable. I just purchased a W4S Dac 1 .......

The transporter has been at the top of my list for sometime now. My only issue is that it requires the squeeze center software to run. Logitech itself only officially recommends one NAS device for use .......

I just bought a pair of coincident amps and they sound excellent. I know it is recommended not to touch the tubes as the oils from our hands can restrict the heat dissipation. After having the amps on .......
