The fellow who got them works for Martin Logan. He said the factory will still make replacement panels for them. I thought they had discontinued this service. Might be of use to others. .......

While doing tweaking with the DSP box I use the charger. The meter shows 640 watts usage when the system is playing music. When i am making measurements I use only the amplifier needed with the charge .......

I use the J2 on the below 500 hz channels and SIT 1s to drive the 2441s. There might not be anything substantially better than the SIT 1 on compression drivers. The J2 is perfectly happy driving GPA 5 .......

Edgar must have had a bunch of 40 uF caps. One only needs half as much capacitance for a 16 ohms driver compared to an eight ohms driver. If one decides to use other caps remove the parallel and use 2 .......

you will hear lots of noise since most of them have no idea how to set up a turntable or have any idea how to care for LPs. In addition most of what I have heard and seen are used tables with worn out .......

All of that new digital speed, as has been pointed out by Todd Kreiger so many times, is not all wonderful. AS with all things kooky audio there is a trade-off - you probably will get higher resolutio .......

Leave the old wire and foam in there and simply run the wire outside the tube. There is next to nothing shielding from the tube. Unless you find it aesthetically troublesome. While you are at it place .......

If you have diminished high frequency detection in your ear/brain adding volume to the "missing" spectrum will sound just as bad to the person with hearing loss as it would to the one with normal hear .......
