Does anyone know of PC software for acoustic analysis...I have seen subwoofer analysis units (hardware) for a few hundred dollars that "listen" to your system and tell you where the response is uneven .......

Thanks for this discussion. I'm going to go ahead and try it. The reason I don't want to use a new box for the vertical config is that the original speakers are the norh 9.0's with the marble drum sha .......

I want to try a configuration of drivers but don't know enough to be sure I won't blow something. Can anyone help me. Its probably simple. I've got a pair of enclosures each with a Sacnspeak Revelator .......

Thanks...what does "lifting" the ground mean? I tried the cheater plug but no luck. Does this mean there's no ground loop or just that its somewhere else? Thanks! .......

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I did try a cheater plug, an idea I had seen online, with no success, But I wasn't sure if I was supposed to do something with the ground lead or just leave it alone. .......

I am getting a soft but bothersome hum/buzz that so far has not been improved by a several power filters, jack caps or a high end power cord. Interestingly, the problem started when I added a second n .......
