if you have another conductor linking the two ground rods, you have zero resistance between them and are not using your house as a resistor when there's a voltage differential at the two ground rods. .......

arc is full of it contact TG Audio, they make some great cables, just ask frank for a 20a IEC. not sure on pricing, but have compared TG to Stage 3 and its neck & neck, and TG isnt priced like stage 3 .......

if you take the bass out of the speaker (ie outboard sub), then it gets easier to design a so-so cabinet w/ resonances that won't be excited by the far-smaller excursions of the mid/tweeter array. but .......

if you're committed to the bybees, at a minimum, treat the 20/20 analog power supply. the transformer likely gets some digital hash blowback from the various chips. rhyno .......

seriously, if your preamp doesn't put out DC on turn on (few do, but check), the 350a is a helluva amp w/ the merlins. runs ice cold, mids & highs were wonderful, but the bass is what stood out in my .......

the esotar D-330 in bobby's VSM'Ms is as good as i've heard a dome sound. only better tweeter i've heard is the ion tweeter in the accapella speakers...and the tweeter costs $5k. (but is it ever GOOD. .......

yes, they require more system matching (i.e. amplifier selection) than other gear that i've owned. yes, they are large. (but as brian mentioned, oddly enough my wife hated the idea of soundlabs, but o .......
