i agree with the above posts, and while the Pas3 is a classic, you wont be getting the benefits of a high end cartridge. get a juicy music blueberry with the LOMC option... then you'll have a killer p .......

as far as sleeves go, i really like the MOFI, they are a little stiffer than most and hold their shape. if you need outer sleeves, i'd look elsewhere. i bought the expensive outer LP sleeves from slee .......

I agree with the first few posts, and I too owned those speakers. they blew a totel 990bx at 200wpc. they are big and power hungry. if you are on a budget i'd consider a vintage Sansui BA-3000 or its .......

theres a difference for sure. the deal is how much you are willing to pay for it. is the Shelter 90x that much better than the 901 or 501? its better, but for most, not 1500 dollars better. my religio .......

NAD is the most poorly made equipment i've ever bought. was sold on the "no bells and whistles pitch" and ended up with bad stuff. the company has had to work hard over the last 5 years to get retaile .......

if you go with anything other than Rega or VPI you will need an armboard. there's better arms than the JMW but IMHO they all fall heavily into the diminishing return realm... i'd get the JMW arm and s .......

they are both good. i think its a preference thing, if you want more bass and darker sound, go for the Benz (my preference). the dyna excels in mids and highs, great if you are listening to chamber mu .......

I most agree with this post. plus all this equipment will increase in value/desirablility. dont knock some of the old vintage stuff. for a couple hundred dollars you can add all new caps, opamps, and .......

uh 2 large on a receiver? buy a vintage pioneer or sansui... classics with tons of power. if you must have a new receiver, get the Magnum Dynalab. NAD = Noise And Distortion NAD = Non Audiohiple Desig .......
