Is the volume imbalanced between channels? There's a washer with a peg in the Sweetest Whispers that defines the end points in the attenuator. If the washer fell out of position during assembly it may .......

Doc B doesn't offer the auricaps for sale. They can be purchased directly from audience or through one of their dealers such as mr. haskins of diycable.com. I've replaced the caps on the 6n1p with Au .......

I've been quite concerned with the stiffness of the power cord and the strained terminal strip. In fact I've been reluctant to do more work on the amps for fear of snapping that strip. I've considered .......

I just finished my parabees with Mr. Tucker's upgrades and I've been trying to reduce the hum levels as well. I've found the most important thing to watch out for is the arrangement of the wiring arou .......

I had a discrepency in my resistance reading as well, similar to yours. I had checked with Mr. Tucker and he said it was fine. good luck Phil .......

If the noise doesn't go away with the break in of the 2a3s, try Voltsecond's recommendation of tying B9 to T14. This eliminated some pitter patter from a 12at7 and lowered the noise floor as well in m .......

I believe Voltsecond mentioned that connecting B9 the the RCA ground would corrupt the signal. T14 is a bit tight... .......

May sound a bit silly now but did you swap the left/right interconnects when you switched the amps? If not you may want to try swapping the ICs. Good luck! .......

I had a foreplay that was working fine with my PP amp but created the same cat in blender noise in one channel with my Paramours. The problem ended up being, as donut_guy suggested, a bad ground conn .......

Thanks for the suggestion. My SACD player puts out 2V rms and now that I've C4sed my Paramours I'm getting more than enough volume, so I think I'll be fine with the TVC straight into the Parabees. .......
