So I have built a pair of Jensen Imperial with all the right parts except that I did not use their cross-over. Instead I am using an active cross-over. I use a clone WE 91 for the high, a clone WE 124 .......

In running thru the HiFi test record, the sound from the left channel on the left channel test is very faint while I could hear sound from both channels on the right channel test with the right channe .......

I recently bought a pair of Mark II. My dealer told me to set the bias at 2.3v. Based on what I read here I am pretty sure he is wrong. I think if I run EL34 I should set at 1.56v and if KT88 at 1.9v. .......

The VTA on my interspace arm is adjustable by unscrewing two nuts and move the arm up and down. I saw the JMW 9 on the Scout at the dealer, which seems to have a dial and seems to be easier to adjust. .......

I have the interspace and I did listen to the Scout briefly at its dealer. Of course the electronics and speakers are all different so take this fwiw. I think both are musical but they are different. .......

If you can find them, Osram B-65 is by far the most warm and romantic of all the 6sn7 that I have, which include NU black glass, Ken Rad, Syl metal base, Syl chrome dome, tungsol, various type of RCA .......

Just so I have both and IMHO, the Syl 6sn7W metal base is more dynamic, faster sounding and extended than the NU black glass. But the NU has a warmer, richer sound. I recently came back from a concert .......
