In my opinion the general considerations for frame material should be non-resonant to audible frequencies and its harmonics. It should also be dimensionally stable at all room temps and normal humidit .......

Bryston 4BST current and likely the last for the 1.6s. Before that Outlaw mono's they did not 'play' well with the 1.6s. Perhaps placebo effect - the biggest improvement in clarity and presence was sw .......

Sound pressure is in log scale, to double it the amp will have to be 10X more power. A general rule. Someone in another thread has recently posted satisfactory results with Emotiva DR1 with 3.6's. Per .......

The conditions of the measurements are close mic not anechoic/open air. DEQX folks told him to first calibrate in open air. .......

They fixed de-lamination,also checked them out and changed the socks for my 1.6s - they were surprisingly reasonable circa 2002. FedEX shipping both ways was more expensive then. .......

12ga is more than sufficient for runs like yours. If you like to try cheap DIY experiments here are two. Twisted pair is better in RF noise rejection than standard speaker wire. Experiment 1- Get 12 .......
