make sure the remote is with it. I have all 3.....R113, R115 and R117. I like them. Discrete output stage and well built. There were problems with the logic chips in some of them, most likely the 115 .......

The MX5050 is not pro-sumer. These were made for editing and radio station use 24/7/365. Some you see for sale were rode hard by heavy hand radio jocks and editors. This reminds me of the old Timex co .......

The Class "D" product is fine with easy to drive speakers. I find old-school "big iron" amps to have a far easier time with woofer control and those speaker that are harder to drive. Thus, no "Class D .......

The Onkyo amp is definately not up to the KEF's. The amp may spec 170W at 8 ohms however it does not double down at 4 ohms. You need a better amp. What you have now is a high-performance speaker bein .......

Indeed the Wadia line uses digital attenuation theat strips bit to change volume. That's why they also recommend that you set the internal (infernal) dip switches so as the attenuation is not less tha .......

Why look for problems where none exist? The caps spec'd for the 33H and 33 are of high quality. The captive cords are more than sufficient. Besides my 33's and 33H's, I have an ML3......almost 20 year .......

I had a 32, it's a 1/2 track deck. Good sounds, reliable. By 1/2 track I mean it records 2 channels, each using 1/2 the width of the tape.......thus you record one way, you cannot "flip" the tape over .......

I have a Sony SCD-777ES. SACD's can sound outstanding, however it all boils down to how they were recorded, as with any format. I have about 60 SACD's. I'll buy more however at chez otari SACD's compe .......

They weigh more than you want but you may want to take a look at Aerial 10t's. An amazing bargain used. They'll play louder than you can stand, and no need for a subwoofer. Image and staging is wonder .......

Perhaps you may try some different cables to see if they may add more detail to the Classe player. Problem I've found is along with detail comes brightness......and lowers the amount of CD's I can enj .......
