I have lived in Virginia Beach for 12 years. There's not a hi-end audio shop in Hampton Roads worth two chits, IMHO. I've found you gotta head to either Richmond or DC to find anything hi-end. Or go .......

Try switching to Sufix Tritanium Plus in 17lbs test. In green. Don't know if it will help with your Bix, but it's one hell of a mono for surf fishing. .......

I bought a Toshiba 3950 several months ago. I did the Swenson mods a few days later. The unit worked fine until about a week ago. When I turn it on now, it boots up, says "Opening" then "Closing" then .......

I would try and match the rears to the fronts. If you are looking to save a little money, don't sweat the rears too much. Put the money in a good set of front speakers and fade the rear ones most - if .......

I've not heard the RTi12s. However, I would look at the Polk's LSI series before you buy. IMHO, the LSI is a very good series of speakers for the money. The Vifa tweeter used in the LSI sounds great. .......

Robert Reina, the reviewer of the Infinity Primus 150, compared them to the Polk RT25i. Polk upgraded the RT25i to the RT28i. A nice little speaker. There is a pair selling on Ebay right now for $135. .......

A good router with carbide bits is a must. A plunge base for your router is nice to have, too. One thing I really, really liked was using a finishing nailer. It beats using screws or just plain glue. .......
