Sell the Thiels. Buy the best Magnapan's you can afford. I prefer ribbon tweeters so I went with the MG-IIIA's. The Parasound will work fantastically with any of the Maggies. Be safe, enjoy the advent .......

In the 70's I used MG-I's in a bay about that size. Luckily it wasn't a square but had a rather large opening to one side. The ones were great in this bay being about 2 feet off the front wall with me .......

I really enjoy my Shanling PH3000. There's not much on the web about this one, but the sound is killer and the option of using it as a tube preamp in a 2 channel system is just one more positive aspec .......

I've had a MOD 3 for over a year and I sure do like it! The dual volume pots are not a big deal to me at all. If it didn't sound SO good maybe I'd look for something with a remote... bb .......

Here's the MG-IC manual with fuse specs, etc, included. I'm not sure if the 1.5 amp fuse speced here is correct for your speaker. If my memory serves the MG-I's I had were supposeed to use 2 amp fuses .......

In the 70's I used tin foil on the fuses for my MG-I's and never had a problem with the tweeters. I've blown a midrange fuse and a tweeter fuse on my MG-IIIA's. I KNOW it's from trying to get some vol .......

I'm using a Hafler 110 pre amp with the POA-1500. So far, so good. I'm not sure if I like it, or the Sumo better. Time will tell. You're right about the binding posts. Not real user friendly for a ban .......
