As Coner said the Yagi type antenna is best for gain, especially for distance. A Channel Master or similar is all you need. I put one rated at 100 miles in a friends attic and had very little problem .......

You will need a DAC. Some TVs do not give an option for PCM output and only output Dolby Digital so you may need one that accepts Dolby Digital (e.g. Orei DA34 or Orei DA34X), check your manual first. .......

You also need to set the digital audio output format (e.g. PCM, DOLBY, etc.) in the TVs menu. If it is set to the wrong one or none at all you will get no audio. If you still get no audio try another .......

Speakers are a pretty personal choice, no one can tell you what kind of "sound" you will like. For instance, I like the Monitor Audio RX6 for home theater (and audio) and they work well with a sub but .......

I don't see Panasonics at Costco.com either but B&H has them with free shipping on 55", 60" and 65" and no sales tax on orders outside of New York. .......

Unless you watch TV in the daytime, in a room full of windows with lots of sunlight coming through or you just enjoy a really bright screen it's a moot point. The brightness thing is way over blown. T .......

The blue OLEDs last longer than they did a few years ago but neither LG nor Samsung will say how long. Instead of LG using an extra subpixel (WRGB) to create "white" light maybe they should add a spar .......

8K has been in development for several years now with several manaufacturers having working prototypes. Expect to see it in a few more years. Personally, I do not think that there is much of an advant .......

I agree. I use the same Master Channel VHF/UHF/FM antenna mounted in my attic for digital and FM radio that I used for analog and I get all the digital channels broadcast in Phoenix from 26 miles away .......

No longer made but at 9.75"H x 6.25"W x 7.25"D I am pretty fond of my Boston Acoustics HD5 and they're sealed. Real sleepers. .......

The lower priced LCD panels may have looked better to you than LED panels in a store (with store lighting and no calibration), but when you start moving up in price local-dimming LED panels and edge-l .......

The KEF LS50s are great speakers no doubt but you might be surprised how similar the X300As sound for half the price. I agree these would be excellent travel speakers. Each speaker is bi-amped with cl .......

Both the Monitor Audio RX6 and RX8 meet your heigth requirement and are excellent for music and HT. They are well under $3000 but it would be your loss not to consider them because of their sale price .......

Several of those plasmas have been reviewed and they are the best yet. Panasonic aquired some of Pioneers plasma technology several years ago. Some in the industry are already predicting that the up .......

480i/480p will not look as good as HD but all 480i/480p outputs are upconverted to the native resolution of the flat panel tv (e.g. 720p, 1080i, 1080p). .......

I just read the review in the July issue of Home Theater Magazine. It is the best Roku yet. There is also WD TV Live, Apple TV, Netgear, Google TV and Boxee Box streamers. .......

I agree, residential shipping services are much rougher on handling packages. Hopefully because they can see that it is TV display they will not bang it around so much. I would make sure that it is in .......

Hi Andy, I don't really know off hand if there are adapters for all the lenses you mentioned for one brand of camera but you might try a quick check on eBay (a good source for adapters) searching usi .......

Some of these have 2 antenna inputs, some if you move up to ther DVR model you get dual tuners, harddrive and more for not much more. I don't know if any have circuity that chooses the strongest anten .......
