Great review--regarding the clearance issues; would a counterweight with a lower profile, such as the Rega Tungsten weight or the Expressimo Audio Heavyweight alleviate the problem? .......

I think its easy; the Proac Studio 200 has three drivers that give it a more open window with more detail than the Response 2.5 or the 1SC. Actually I hear more detail with my Studio 200 than my pre .......

It sure is a good looking table and it takes well to relatively cheap tweaks. However like the others have said, it is prone to feedback if not properly sited. Here's some things I remember doing that .......

You could do a lot worse than those speakers. Try them also with the Met 9 ribbon tweeter and you will have speakers competitive with the best. .......

You already have a Great front end with your LP12. Therefore, concentrate on finding the speaker you like best, THEN look at electronics and digital equipment. There are many diifferent paths to take: .......

The S120 is more transparent and cleaner sounding; with a more linear tonal balance. Ie. there is no emphasis on any particular area of the freq spectrum. Bass IS there, and deep too if its called for .......
