Wouldn't go loud enough without strain. Audioquest biwire cable, Pass preamp. Replaced with Yamaha integrated. All is well now. I tried 2 different XA30.5s. The meter on the first one behaved strangel .......

I guess it depends on what we mean by "enough" and "broken". I sold the amp to an audio engineer at Apple with whom I am socially networked and I have not gotten any complaints from him. And the Tanno .......

Same here! (In 1972.) With a used Scott integrated (EL 84) and Perpetuum Ebner TT. I think I may have wound up with my current speakers (Tannoy Turnberry) partly because they look like a bigger versio .......

I've had the A-S2000 since November and am very happy with the sound. Using it with Tannoy Turnberry speakers. Sound is better in every way compared to previous Pass XA30.5/XP-10. But this may be due .......

The best sound I have gotten from them has been with hybrid amplifiers. I had a Van Alstine Ultra 550 for a couple of months (it hummed too much in my house) and have for the past couple of days liste .......

If you require a lot of inputs you should look into the Audio by Van Alstine (AVA) preamplifiers. I've had Singlepower and Ray Samuels headphone amplifiers, etc., and I really like the AVA Transcenden .......
