Hi all, I'm having an issue with my subwoofer. I use a Raspberry Pi to eq it. Problem is, when something like a huge explosion on a movie is played, my amp's relay cuts in and the sound effect is ruin .......

I just happened to need a new soundcard and picked up the X-Fi in a sale. I didn't know it was optical and wasn't too fussy about PC audio. I bought the card August 2010, and its just been sat in a PC .......

I done this with Letraset too. I used to buy silver components, (70's kit), and spray it black using car spray cans. Put my lettering on, and lacquer over that, with car lacquer. I'd the sell the gear .......

Streaming has improved, but the modem keeps dropping the connection, i.e. the upload led blinks as it should, but the download led, stays off for a while, with an occasional blink. I reboot it and off .......

I think you're gunk is glue. I've had this on a few separates. Get your iron out and pull it from the board. You can then assess the underside of the can and get a better picture. If the gunk is glue, .......

Try a dummy load.Buy a resistor 3.9 ohms(4ohms)or I used an old tv speaker and roll it up in a towell so you dont hear it stressing out(probably not healthy for your amp). mikee55 .......

Hi mate,wow thats confusing.I think you need to make sure that your A + B speakers Equal 4 ohms or more.Are they both 4 ohms?I'm sure when you select A + B the circuit connects the speakers as an 8 Oh .......

Can you do a continuity check to see if the resistor connects to the emitter leg of the transistor?The other side is to gnd,I believe.I think the resistor with coil is a zobel network or somthing like .......

My JVC ax-2 has had its Bias increased.This mod makes it hot.I've made tiny heatsinks that sit in front off my Transistors and have added extra heatsinks to the main heatsink,yet its still hot to touc .......

I would say the only downside I've come across is Size i.e.having room inside a chassis,but theres usualy plenty of space.But although the voltage must remain the same as the original two caps in para .......
