Copper (or in your case bronze) is a good shield for Radio-Frequency type noise, but it does nothing for Magnetic noise. Bronze is not commonly used, but copper is, for building what are called Screen .......

Unless you have exactly the same equipment and wires and room to test these two in, I bet its a hard call. I can make my SC-V based system sound vastly different due to changes in cables or amplifiers .......

Thanks for the info. I did know from the Belden site that the Zo at low frequencies is highly variable. I am using Nordost Quattro Fil (sorry its not kimber) and have calculated the impedance to be 82 .......

Try to eval some Quattro Fil and some Red Dawn. I'm not sure that Red Dawn is really that great. Make sure you give the Silver Lace a lot of burn in time. .......
