Like most things , QC and SPC are tools to help keep things under control.They can be used to establish the R&R schedules you mentioned, and to help decide what your sample size should be. I read that .......

Well, you need some QC or you don't know if the product you're shipping is acceptable. A sampling should be sufficient. Maybe using SPC would be the way to go. Also , Jack White just got his pressing .......

I have a Cotillion copy which sounds great. Last year I picked up a DVD-A version which is really good overall, but the crecendo at the end of Tarkus is compressed, or the level dropped.That is dissap .......

I had an OM-20 and liked it quite a bit.It was very smooth with good bass.I also had(still have) the OC9.I think it has more of everything the Ortofon had ,including more detail, deeper ,weightier bas .......

I think some warp more easily than others. When I have one or, just a few records in my car ,I slide them between the front seat and the console.That keeps them pretty secure and out of direct sunligh .......

I have the BDP 83. I run the 6 channel analog outputs into an Outlaw ICBM bass manager and into a Rotel Mch reciever. No sub required since the ICBM sums the LFE channel into the mains. I don't know .......
