Howdy everyone, I'm going to be building a pile of custom wall plates for my new house, a mixture of hdmi, rca and rj45's. My question is are Levitons Quickport wall plates/jacks, etc, just standard .......

Hello Florian, the Benchmark dac uses a AKM spdif/aes reciever, ad1896 ASRC and ad1853 dac chip. I've designed my own dac using the ad1896, and while it has very good jitter performance, it does not E .......

After many years of sorting through the masses of "good" tweeters, I think the Heils cannot be beat. My pick of the whole bunch, even from way back when first ESS used them, are the ones Eton current .......

The resettable fuse, which really is a magnetic breaker switch, performs a lot better in big power amps. Stronger bass, etc, etc. Mark .......

yeah, i've compared super through, gold tune, great supply, Elna silmics and alpha, and black gates, all in 10,000uf 80 volt ss amp power supply situation. My favorite is the Elna silmics for soft mus .......

just like the SAP relaxa, there is mechanical connection to keep the platform stable in the horizontal plane using roller bearings on a post. anyway, got any measurements to back up these claims of be .......

The mag lev platform was in the style of the relaxa, the speakers were galo's 2 way balls using the dynaudio woofers and galo's 330 degrees tweeters. The sound definitely changed. For better or worse .......

Howdy Madisound has the xt line, the xt25 is good, just don't cross low or with low order, its doesn't have as much displacement as a normal 1". apart from that, its a winner. Mark .......

Used to build amps for someone, and they always had on stock a few hundred of each nichicon cap. Such different sounds from each type. Used to spend days listening to different caps in IDENTICAL amps. .......
