I saw a Squeezebox Duet at a local dealer this weekend and I was quite impressed with its operation. The remote was actually smaller than I anticipated. It seemed very intuitive to operate and setup. .......

I prefer Audiogon for both buying & selling, especially for more expensive, lesser known gear. The fees are also lower on audiogon & its targeted for higher-end audio, making it a good place to start. .......

To the more technically inclined, when using a balanced power unit, such as Equitech or BPT, do the plugged in components need to have a 3 prong plug (w/ a ground)? I assume so, but I haven't seen it .......

ATCs are a great value when you consider their quality. They easily compete against more expensive speakers. I have the 20-2 actives, but demoed the 35s for quite a while. I agree the 35's are neutral .......

I have ATC 20-2 (actives ) and I am very impressed with their presentation. I am not sure how their bass response would be in such a large room (how much bass do you want?). Thats a lot to ask of any .......

I highly recommend Equitech. Its well built and provide fantastic results in both audio & video. The results with video are stunning and so easy to see. In terms of audio, the differences are subtle. .......

I tried both of the above speakers with single & biwire (XLO Ref) & I am not sure there was a difference. It was not a structured test so I am not sure it has a lot of meaning. My dealer was runs them .......

The 35s are a very nice speaker. I personally selected the 20-2 Actives which to me have more refined upper-end. The 35s are very musical with a great mid range and lower end. I listened to the 35's .......

The tweeter is the same on the 7, 12 & 35s. The 20's both active & passive have the same tweeter as the 50s. As I stated before, the tweeter in the 20's is cleaner & more refined. I think you may be b .......

I am not familar with the Bat, but have owned both the Cary and Ayre. They are both very good players, but I would probably side with the Cary. The Ayre is a great player, probably sonically superior .......
