Actually have them setting side by side. The Bolero's being quite smaller, are on stands. The Forte's being a quite bigger speaker offers up a bigger sound with bigger bass. I think the bass from the .......

I purchased my A4 in July 98, so it's almost 9 years old with 148K on it. Turbo went out at 10K, replaced under warranty, no biggie. Coil out at 35k, replaced under warranty, no biggie. Problem free .......

Doesn't the B&W manual recommend sitting the same distance from as the speakers are apart? You say your sitting 11feet away and the speakers are apart 10feet. Try sitting a foot closer? Vinyl is final .......

The 1/4 inch thingy may be the pad that goes on the spindle, under your record. That may fix your problem. I just got a Scout about a week ago, so I'm no expert. I could be wrong. Vinyl is final ---- .......

303-200; well broken in. The Cary has much more pronounced bass than the Arcam CD23T, and has a wider sound stage. I think the Arcam is smoother though. The Cary seems " shouty " at times to me. Nice .......

CD players employ a DAC, which is a digital to analog converter, right? Why then bother with the conversion. Why not just go analog? I've never researched this subject. Perhaps someone will enlighten .......

Probably SIM. I have a Manley Stingray, and the 5 minutes that I've spent biasing tubes in the year I've had it disqualifies that particular piece, I guess. .......

Hi. I'm not familiar with your equipment, but I did have some Paradigm Studio 40's at one time. Never had a bass problem with them. Have you tried moving your speakers around, maybe closer to the wall .......

I was listening to a L. Skynard tape last night, and it sounded amazingly good. All of my cassettes are at least 6 years old, and many of them still sound very good. I think I'm in the minority though .......

I had my Studio 40's V2 bi-wired to a Rotel Integrated. I was using Nordost flatwire, the least expensive Nordost I believe, the white stuff. I thought that it sounded much better than single wired. : .......

I listen to mostly rock. I was wondering if anyone hear are driving their Magnepans with a Mac, and what the results are. If a pair of Magnepans can be gotten for $1600 or so, and they are as good as .......

The negative cable is extremely tight when attaching it to my CD Player. I really have to force it on there. Can those prongs, or whatever they are inside the connector, be spread out safely? Thanks a .......

I had a Phase 400/4000 system when I left the Army in the late 70's. That thing rocked. I miss it. I had it mated to some JBL - L100's. I haven't been able to replicate the sound with anything since. .......
