From http://www.euronet.nl/users/temagm/audio/esl63.htm The distortion produced by the ESL-63 is extremely low. The ability to produce a square wave that actually looks like one is quite unique. Avera .......

If by "accurate" you mean "invisible" (which is MY definition of accurate) then for the price you can get exactly what I listen to every day. If your AN's sound anything like you claim they do, this e .......

I'll heartily 2nd the Quad 303 recommendation - it's 12:40am PST now, and after 2 hours of glorious music I simply have to listen to one more album tonight, but hey it's Saturday (well, Sunday) I gues .......

I wouldn't let servicing concerns stand in the way of a speaker that is a true "music lovers" dream - the money they have saved me by taking me out of the audio chase for over 20 years now is invaluab .......

I'm with you - I spend hours listening to music, not my pile of audio gear - radioio is but one of many great stations. Using itunes where I can sort by bitrate and genre, I can find music I like and .......

I love my Creek OBH12 - I too think the Placette is the only way I'd hear a significant difference, but when I listen to my system as is I always wonder "why bother"? I have a Sonic Euphoria sitting a .......

I had that problem with my Quad 99, it eventually just stopped working alltogether. I was so frustrated with the whole 99 set I sold it as a set, giving him the Quad 99 CDP for free. Happy to see it a .......

Ok - so then if all CD players put out an identical, mathematically corrected bitstream to their DAC's (barring major trauma to the CD) - can't we say by extension all these transports "sound" identic .......

Ok so we're still stuck with synchronous transfer. Maybe in the future the PC will dump an entire song at a time onto the DAC (which will have internal RAM cache) with embedded error correction, thus .......

Ok, why do they use a different type of USB transmission? If you can put it in laymans terms I'd be grateful for the info. But nothing will convince me that it can't be done with a DAC if it can be do .......
