1950's 12" Jensen woofer. Pretty common in organs, guitar kits etc.. Right now I'm using cheapo ebay variable power supply that goes up to 30V's. At 28.5V it display .10amps. At 10V's it reads .02amps .......

After diving into the specs it seems all these plugs have all brass blades. BTW... the PS Audio Power Ports states that they are all brass as well. They use these plugs in their high end Power Re-gene .......

Neither nut or bolt is copper. Anyway... The nuts don't touch the copper due to the nylon washers but the bolt does. I don't think it's conductive though. I've been thinking about painting the interi .......

I use them. The coating is NOT conductive... believe it or not. There is a thread in this forum with someone testing with a meter. I sanded the coating off and re-polished it and all is good. Probably .......

Right! My 475 measures flat beyond 15k all by themselves. The biggest benefit was taking out the HF XO booster network the Altecs require. I have an Emilar EH500 2" horn I would love to try a Radian 9 .......

I would say that's the number one problem with horns and direct radiators. Getting those two systems to work together is an exercise in compromise. But, it can be done in a way that is superior to mos .......

I lived with a Tannoy folded horn for a while. I love the way the mid-bass and bass load the room and has impact and harmonics. Bought once i started hearing mushiness in the mid-range, the honeymoon .......

Right. My everyday drivers are Gold Lion KT77's in an Eico HF-60. Very balanced w great extremes on both end. Pimped out down to its tube sockets. Its great , I really love it... but, The heathkit has .......

I have a Heathkit AA-32 that is punchy and has a wonderful 3D quality... especially w regards to depth. What gives it these qualities? Is it the 6GW8/ECL86 output tubes? .......
