Nope that's not accurate, if my memory serves me well the SMGa in my room had this mild slap / "distortion" at moderate levels when placed really close to the front wall and yes you're suppose to keep .......

This is phonostage, work with vacuum tubes, and it has a separate power supply. That have tubes too! The brand is Wright Sound. They don't build them anymore. And I gave the OP wrong info about handli .......

Agree! just looking at the pictures you can tell is a more solid foundation as I mentioned before. My doubt is about price to performance ratio with the cheaper Magnepan. Can the price of a stand cost .......

Looking at the pictures in the Mye sound gallery their stands rises the speakers ABOVE the GROUND TOO. They seems to provide a firmer foundation thou! .......

The guy I acquired the phono stage from, used to sell good quality audio gear in the mid 2000's in Puerto Rico, like Spendor, Quad, Plinius, Jenna labs, and Wright Sound as well. Nice guy very knowled .......

somewhat modified for what I know. It was owned by the local Wright Sound dealer at the time. It was some kind of a special order, the "owner manual/instructions" were a sheet of paper hand written by .......
