Ashkenazy plays and conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra. Several of the earliest recordings were analog, the later one's were done digitally. The sound is very good. The performances are really good. .......

The Mahler 4 and Mahler 2 on Channel are among the best orchestral recordings sonically that I have in my extensive collection. They represent the pinnacle in hi-rez IMO. The BIS Respighi is very good .......
