Well...coming from a guy who has actually heard a pair as I now have a pair in my livingroom, i'd have to say they sound pretty damn good! but.. I have also owned 604-8Gs in 620A cabinets for 2-3 year .......

Gerry, The Fishers are amazing amps, still abit noisy though, and are going back to visit my tech on Monday... The SET amps I used was a Golden tube Audio SE-300B mono blocks with considerable upgradi .......

The T25A uses the 8HD? horn, i guess that is the 800Hz horn and they have the 30" woofer, incredible driver really, i would have had to hear it to believe it, fast, tight, low base, I did try a test d .......

I come across this on old DGGs and Lots of British and German pressings, the ones with paper outer and plastic inners, the plastic sticks to the record and leaves a pattern mark on the vinyl, I can so .......

Hi, Follow this link, The differences between packing the Dual and the Linn, are small. The Subplatter should be shimmed or raised (several pieces of cardboard is good)just enough to avoid any bearing .......

The L75 is what i've used for my project, identical to the L78 except for some Auto arm functions i believe, these are normally removed as few people doing a modded Lenco keep it's arm, also be sure t .......

Agreed, the arm does seem abit flimsy but has with-stood 6 months of use with multiple arm wand swaps. So I think it will be alright, another small issue with the arm is the fact that its not grounded .......

I'm using the MG-1 Air Bearing arm, Its a great arm at a great price. I bought the extra arm wand, and its a nice system. Each arm wand has its own counter-weight so switching arms is easy with the VT .......

I've had mine since 93 or 94. I've replaced the pads many times. Probably cleaned 1000s of LPs in that time. One time I started the platter spining and applied the cleaning solution, then got distract .......

It is a Mono 12" arm fitted to a M5 Microlab CBC turntable. A 3 speed idler wheel built in Toronto in the 1950s. Clever lift on headshell end, Magnetic arm clip on armrest, Cartridge is offset in head .......

I have an RB250SE Incognito and I use a Grace F-9 Ruby with excellent results. I have also tried a Rega Super Elys on this arm as well as a Grace Level II Ruby. The Graces are nearly impossible to fin .......

I think this is a good point, that the contact point between brush and LP have enough fluid. The need to have the the whole lp soaked is not so important, I make my own fluid according to a recipe I f .......

Eric, I think my PLC is a later model, it has two seperate dials on front for 33 & 45 adjustment. It also has the silver adjustment setscrew on the back panel, something the earlier models did not hav .......

I'm having a curious problem with my VPI PLC, from time to time the Turntable, when plugged into the PLC will stop dead. The solution for me has been to shut off the PLC, start it again and carry on. .......

I am using an SP10 MK II with an RB250SE Incognito tonearm and a Grace Ruby cartridge mounted in a Custom McCurdy Stand that weighs in at a little over 250 lbs. I find that it betters my VPI Jr/RB300/ .......

I use my 8B/7T combo with a variety of speakers, I'm not familiar with the speaker in question, My Epos speakers are about 87db efficient, my Kef 103.2 are a sealed cabinet and slightly less efficient .......

I've had a chance to open up the integrated amp(Americana 1 ) as it needs the most work. It has a tested 'Nov 14, 1959' stamp on the inside, it is a mono amp. The tubes consist of a pair of EL84 Mulla .......
