Matching the whole kitten-caboodle :-) would really be the proper way, but problems are aplenty. Making high z cables is a problem given maxwell's equations... But making input circuits low Z does ten .......

The initial inductance is 10 uH at zero current, and 5 uH at rated current. The core is saturating. So one can expect anywhere from 10 uH (as an upper limit) at 11 amps to perhaps 2 to 5 uH at a kiloa .......

#14 awg certainly meets the need. The 11 ampere number is then a temperature based limit, which is not a problem for a safety ground. Clearing a 15 or 20 amp breaker can reach 2 to 5 Kiloamps for 16 m .......

It's rated maximum current is 11 amps. That's a #20AWG wire in free air. I am not sure a #20 meets code. Can you tell us the wire diameter, as that 11 amp may be derated for core heating. Cheers, John .......

Glass passivated is your best bet for under the hood applications. Many diodes are just molded plastic over the silicon edge, and that can allow contamination to creep along the wire-to-plastic bounda .......

In Stallcup's Electrical design Book, page 11-39, it specifically states "supplementary electrode". THAT is where I got it. You are probably looking it up in the NEC...which of course, is no fair...:- .......
