hi all, I bought a working SP-15 and had it shipped to me. It was dead on arrival - though the box/packing seemed ok. By dead I mean that no lights come on and the buttons don't work when it is plugge .......

hi all, My basic dilemma is that I have one of these tables that require you to remove the mat and platter to switch speeds. So, instead of doing that, most of my 45RPM LPs unjustly collect dust. So, .......

well, the closest I came to a consensus was to stick with 214, which is what I did and am happy with the results. .......

Not sure it can be called a consensus, but it seems folks generally advising to stick to the 214mm factory indication - assuming it works for your table. now, on to track down one as cheaply as I can .......

but here is what i built. it is 7' tall by 4' wide. the top shelf fits 10" records while the others are for 12" ones. the dividers are 1/2" cherry ply and the rest is 3/4" cherry ply. if you are inter .......

i recently slapped one together and used "what the pros use." it is a product called Weld-On 4 and it actually fuses the acrylic pieces to each other (not sure if 'fuses' is the right term - maybe me .......

i just picked up a beefier LED from radio shack that was rated for my mains voltage and then cut up an old computer power cord i had lying around and wired it directly to the plug. works really well. .......

the 100% dynamite series on Soul Jazz are pretty nice. i would also highly recomend 'darker than blue' which is a blood and fire comp (though i think the vinyl comes from someone else). blood & fire .......

completely true, and by the opposite margin, there are turning out to be too many copies of 'rare' records that nobody wants. many LPs in the '94 price guides listed at $50 can't be sold for $5 on eba .......
