The problem is that buffering happens for a very short time (less than a second) and it is always happening +_ 30 seconds before the end of a track. Any idea how to stop this nonsense?? Thanks in adva .......

Not sure what the fuss is about, I subscribed to Tidal for the music and MQA came along with 95% of music offered I would never play, on top of that MQA maybe better than the original cd but they are .......

For me it is not a life changing experience, some title do sound excellent like Vol 1 of the "Grieg/Mozart for 2 pianos" it is very natural sounding and completely free from digitalis, but lots of MQA .......

The audio quality is mostly excellent. For me the main problem is for classical music, the majority of it comes from the Warner Bros catalogue, which for classical music I never did consider it to be .......

I sold +_ 2000 cd's/sacd's about a year ago, very cheaply 2-4 $ a piece I had about 1000 left which I donated to a charity. I think that today it would be even more difficult to sell them. Glad I did. .......

I do regret selling +_ 50% of my cd's but at the time I felt that my system was pretty safe doing regular back ups and I needed the space 3000 cd's take lots of space. I also got a good price for them .......

I do not think that it is available on vinyl. It is a 10 cd's set and I particularly enjoy cd 9 and 10 for the relax way the musicians are playing, sure it maybe not the tightest Ellington performance .......

The downloads I did are all from so called audiophiles labels and you could buy the physical disc as an SACD, my comments are just saying that I was expecting higher audio quality from the high res do .......

The only better player I heard is the new DCS Vivaldi, again very natural The K03 is not bright it is well balanced and controlled. The drawing mechanism makes no noise it runs ultra smoothly And yes .......

I remember buying a Gryphon Callisto 1--W integrated amplifier about 13 years ago, but I never enjoyed the sound, I went back to valves sold it but unfortunately for the new owner the Gryphon blew up .......

Yes chamber music can be reproduced pretty well in the living room if the recording is done right, lots of them are miked to close and may sound good to some ears but they do not sound like the real t .......

Both have some nice choices with good sound. Praga especially good for modern recordings and Pentatone has some masterpieces from the 70's and 80's, some of them remastered in 4 channels. .......

I tought that in this particular system the high frequencies of the Devialet was a strong point. The speakers uses Scanspeak revelators tweeters that have extended high frequecies. The SACD player use .......

The VSE mod is not a waste of money it is a bargain. I had my one done and appreciate the improvements a lot. Since then I compared the std machine with the VSE modded machine a few timse and the diff .......

RB standfs for Red Book which is std cd's The Ayon is the best player I've heard for these. My SACD player (Sony 5400) does not play RB cd as well as the Ayon. It all depends what are your priorities. .......

The Ayon CD 07 is not a SACD player. RBCD sounds marvelous and I doubt that many SACD players will play RBCD's as well as the Ayon CD 07. It is an expansive machine but if your collection is mostly RB .......

I've also got the 3 cd's box set, I am most please with it, even the audio is well recorded and excellent. I think I paid about 5$ at Berkshire sometimes last year. .......

We have a few turntables set up in the shop and I always have a feeling that in comparison CD's/SAcd's do not sound as colorful, brass sound brassier, piano's a little richer, violins a little woodier .......

Over 96% of the music is below 8000Hz, mid range quality is the key. Sure an older person may not hear a lot above 10K but I think that they still can differentiate good from bad. In general they also .......

I do not own a TT but listening to top TT set up (15K +) at the shop they can sound marvelous, they have a quality that SACD does not have, the sound seems more colorful. Being the lazy type I love cd .......

Sublime music for sure, I have a few versions, I do like the Klemperer best followed by the Naxos with Antoni Wit. The Channel classics SACD is also pretty good. I think that they are many good ones, .......

To each each own. I love Praga recordings, I never found a modern BIS SACD that blows me away. Maybe I am old fashioned but some of the early BIS RBCD's still sound better than the modern SACD's recor .......

My main speakers go down to 33Hz +_ 3 db but with my 2 subs I get close to a flat response down to 20 Hz and that makes a huge difference to lots of music especially organ music which I love, I could .......

Well integrated subs will no only provide lower and better bass response but also improve imaging (sound stage) In my system I cross over at 32 hz and switching the subs off results in smaller scale r .......

All the Lugano discs are good, the new 2011 will be released next week I have it on pre-order. I can also recommend her solo EMI box (9cds) some marvellous music on it and all that for a bargain price .......
