I've been using an iPod and have been hooked at the ease of having over 300 CDs playing in shuffle mode. It's not simply not having to constantly change CD's, but it's like having your own personal DJ .......

No added warmth, and definitely not dark-sounding. Treble is very extended, but the sound is well-balanced from bottom to top and I have never heard anyone complain about brightness. Sounds more lean .......

Upgrade the amp. 1-1.5K is plenty if you shop used. The names you mentioned are all good choices, but you have to listen to decide for yourself. The Dyns are not particularly easy to drive, I suspect .......

I love my Integre DT and think it is simply superb. However, it is certainly not 'warm and full' as Vaughn prefers, so its lean sound may not be his cup of tea. But still, definitely worth a listen! : .......

Agreed, I think even the CD3 is overkill. The CD1's power supply is going to be bigger than my little Integre. Besides, most of the increased detail and definition in the lower bass is probably going .......

Nope. It has to be factory installed. I believe they change the volume pot, I remember someone saying the non-remote unit is stepped while the remote one is smooth. My dealer said something like addin .......

What are some good subs under $1k, or preferably even, under $700-800, to go with my CDM1SEs. Will be using them 100% for music, a lot of jazz. Deep extension and volume is not important. Especially d .......
