I have a later Merrill Heirloom with the coated periphery clamp. It does not ring at all, flattens most warps, and does not interfere with my Benz cartridge. My Heirloom has the new terpolymer subchas .......

I had the stylus on the record without the record spinning, and it made the woofers start. I turned up the volume louder than I would for listening, and if I touched the cable, it was audible through .......

It's a soft flexible cable, and it wasn't touching the suspension or the plinth. I'm going to try it again tonight and ensure that the cables aren't putting some kind of force or weight on the suspens .......

I don't think the Leopard does have a filter, but I tried 3 different cables in succession, and the only time this problem arose was with this cable. Everything else was the same. .......

I've got probably 75 - 100 hours on mine, and I am definitely noticing cleaner treble now; also very nice imaging. The bass response is a real revelation after the Chinese Genelex copies that PrimaLun .......

The early red labels are the best. The light blue labels are occaisionally decent, but usually have a compressed sound quality. Look for the early issues with the dowel spine, as those are UK pressing .......

The original stereo has the unboxed Decca logo and the FFSS band is much wider than later pressings, just like the Decca classical lps. These versions usually sound much better. .......

The Audioquest style carbon fiber brushes are not supposed to be used for wet cleaning. Use the Nitty Gritty wet brush or something similar for wet cleaning and use the carbon fiber brushes for dry du .......

I don't know about the formula, but the name was sold to RCA after Discwasher went under. So it's an RCA product. .......

I found a Japanese pressing of this today in my stacks of records I haven't played yet. It was incredible! I have an original Decca - a well known HP list lp - and the Japanese pressing killed it. One .......
