The Manley Snappers use EL34 output tubes. I just put in some JJ KT77 tubes and biased them to 300mV which is what Manley recommends for the El34s. Should the bias value for the KT77 tubes be the same .......

The 6P14P-EB may in fact the same as your EL84M Russian tubes. The EB (also sometimes transcribed as EV) indicates military spec tubes. The Russian mil spec tubes I got from Kevin Deal were 6P14P-EB, .......

MCh SACDs always have a 2 channel mix on the same disc. I believe this is a requirement set down in the Sony/Phillips SACD specification and so you will be playing the 2 channel data which is physical .......
