Thanks for the info bigshow! I'm an AQ nut with a pile of NRG 10s as well. I don't like silver coated plugs so for me the only choice in the new AQ lineup is the Thunder. Sounds to me like it's a real .......

Never heard the Rondo Bronze but had the Blue and sold it off. Now I wish I had it back. Anyhoo, I am using the Cadenza Red and it's much better than the Blue was. I doubt highly you would be disappoi .......

When I recently used my spin clean I had to rotate towels on a fan to keep them semi dry. Then wiping most records more than once, if not there were streaks. It's a little bit of work but all lps tha .......

The Kimber Pk 10 is another good cord but is faster sounding with an emphasis on the treble range and not as full bodied as its "gold" sibling. I found a pk 10 ag earlier this summer to try on my cdp .......

I will second Duster's recommendation of the Kimber PK10 Golds. I have been trying cord brands and these Kimbers IMO are unbeatable for the money. They have a nice slightly warm flavor with full bass .......

I have been using Shunyata PCs and Hydras for 2 years or so now and can't complain. The Zitrons are very special cords. Currently using 3 Cobra Zs, two Viper Zs, and a Cyclops conditioner. ::: TOPIC:: .......

My gut tells me this thing is starving for A/C especially if it gets worse as you go louder. I would look into a dedicated line just for your amp. I would also get a decent power cord of heavier gauge .......

I would double them up at the speaker end and use as they are. There should'nt be any sonic penalty. IME they are easier to sell in biwire and if you can use SBW in the future you are set up. ::: TOPI .......

I love the idea of bipassing a preamp in a single source system. The only problem is every time I've tried it, 3-4 times now, well it didn't work out. I would describe it similar to what the "haters" .......

Gotta agree with Bromo33333 in that you may need to play with speaker placement. I had some of the old school Mirage bipolars and was always scouching them around. I would try that Jennifer Warnes son .......

Sounds like you've got a good dealer to work with in trying out gear. Is it possible to bridge your 532h and add another 532 and use them as monoblocks? Might be a foolproof way to build on the Levins .......

Had the 104.2s then Reference 3 then the 107s back in 94-96. The 107s were by far the favorite but I couldn't get enough bass with my Adcom gf545. Looking back I'm sure that the amp was the trouble, I .......

I am using some lighter gauge Cullen Cables on my CDP and preamp, not much, if any difference between these and the AQS nrg 10s. Whether plugged into the wall directly or through a Hydra 4 same thing .......

jea48, Good point I would ask the same. Last spring I bought four Audioquest NRG 10 PCs. One for each amp and one for the preamp and cdp. Because I'm crazy and obsessive this winter I pulled the AQ PC .......

My amps benefit the most from a good PC, my cdp and preamp only slightly. My amps are on separate 20 amp lines directly to wall and the pre and cdp are through a Hydra 4. .......
