i found these older grados and my impression is that there is supposed to be some sort of membrane over the back of the driver that you can poke holes in to get more bass. mine seems to have no such .......

Picked up a 3150 integrated at the thrift. Had no way to test it so i took i gamble ( it wasn't cheap). It played pretty well, but completely dropped a channel after a song or so and stayed that way. .......

Rega tables are infamous for being set up fast on purpose. Evidently they think it provides better dynamics, but I can't understand the reasoning behind this claim. It certainly degrades the bass resp .......

It only comes with one or the other type of wall wart. I believe mine came with an ac one and I am now using a dc one. There is no switch on the unit and the input is the same 3.5mm jack. I'm not sure .......

on closer inspection has four outputs so not a mono cart, unless the m means it came with a mono stylus. Stylus choice is limited but you can evidently cut the plastic off of other shure styli wrap th .......

I got it off the table (sort of)and removed the mounting bracket. I removed the four screws holding the bottom part on, but the housing wouldn't budge. Ditto for the top. I can't find anything online .......

I blew a fuse in my isolation transformer. It is 1/4 by 1 1/4. 8amp 250 volt. It has an "f" on it but the main wire has a smaller wire that wraps around it so it looks like a slow blow but the number .......

I have an old cart that reads AT 35 that needs a stylus. I found the atn 35 e stylus on lp gear. I imagine the e stands for elliptical and that it should fit all AT 35 series bodies the way that shure .......

Just guessing here but as crosstalk involves one stereo channel bleeding over into another it typically happens, in the case of vinyl, at the stylus tip itself, and in other cases in interconnects or .......
