Got a reply back from the seller yesterday. This microscope software will not work with Windows 8.1. I installed it on an older computer running Windows 7 and it works fine. .......

I just installed a 901 on my VPI TNT HR5 (12.5 arm), and as per HW's recommendation they appear to be a good match. I have only about 10 hours on it, so I am far from breaking it in. Right now the VTF .......

Ole, My vote is for the SDS. After owning my Aries with a PLC for two years, I did the SDS upgrade and the results were wonderful. Blacker background, improved dynamics, just plain more betterer. Best .......

The Grado dance is an oscilation of the cartridge and arm which causes mistracking and distortion. It isn't pretty! .......

I have the same set up, TNT HR 5 with the Grado Reference, high output version. There are times on some LP's that I just can't get rid of the Grado dance. This usually occurs on the 1st and sometimes .......

My Aries had the TNT composite platter. My TNT HR has the all acrylic 1.75" platter. Harry sez that the new TNT HR bearing allows for the lighter acrylic platter to work best with this combo. This imp .......
