For what it's worth. When I bought my 3.7i's I didn't want the oval base, I just hated the way they looked and wanted the older style steel brackets. Magnepan was able to supply them to me just by req .......

Couldn't agree more. I always leave in it stand by, listen every night and use very pricey (Siemens 1960 CCA's Greyplates) NOS tubes. As of late I've never had a problem and I change out my tubes ever .......

I would have to concur with Ozzy's findings. I've had mine for 10 years now and have run them with Siemens 1960 CCA's with no trouble what so ever. In 10 years I've only changed tubes 2 maybe 3 times. .......

Another thing to try is as Bambi suggested within it's limitation is the ARC 100.2. I'm currently driving Maggie 3.6's with one with the addition of a Vandersteen sub to handle the low end. I find in .......

I like and have used for years Sieman CCA's (early 60's) with great success. I have also heard and have a large stock of Phillips SQ 7308's which should be equally as amazing. Haven't tried those yet .......

Yes internal damping makes a difference but the biggest difference for my unit was when I had Steve Huntley at Great Northern Sound Co. do his full out 834p mod for my unit which in addition to everyt .......

I would like to try bypassing my 1.6's. I was looking at the tweaks section and saw a fuse bypass tweak using CAT 5 wiring. Where do you get CAT 5 wiring? Or are there higher value fuses that might ge .......
