The best 75R cable I have ever has is the Mark Levinson Silver which was made in Japan with very decent core and shield sizes and soft teflon dielectric. Somehow they just sound better than anything e .......

An external clock is not a panacea. SQ is still very dependant on impedance matching, cabling, and the final 44.1x/48.2x output clocks. Some PC sound cards actually don't sound very good with their ow .......

Don't get an NUC with a fan. At a higher cost get an i7 35W with passive cooling from a silent PC assembler. Make sure the case has a 65W cooling capacity. Such a PC can process 1080p video well. Don' .......

All decent usb cards do, with I2S output to the dac. The quality of the 44.1x and 48x clocks count a lot, nevermind all these gold coloured Chinese XOs that they sell at a premium price. .......

The dac sounds different driven via the usb3 and usb2 board sockets, played thru an iFI usb Power interface with short Wireworld Starlight cables. I haven't tried all the tricks and cables yet. The PC .......

I have fired up the new Gustard 9028Pro on usb input. It is very good, although most Chinese XMOS system use the XMOS driver and not the Theyscon driver which allows for the lowering of latency in the .......

Impedance should be as close to 90R as possible, with good shielding. It is economic to buy high end Wireworld cables in 5 or 7m lengths, cut them up and form shorter (as short as 10 cm) cables using .......
